Hoss is about 4 to 5 years old, and was left by his people when they moved. The person who bought Hoss’ home found him, and told the neighbor “You want him? He came with the house.” So, the neighbor took Hoss in, and he has been living outside on her farm for the last few months. Things did not work out when the neighbor’s dog decided he did not care for Hoss, so he would pick on him and not share food.
As sad as this sounds, there is a happy story for Hoss. The family called KCEBR and because of our amazing volunteers Hoss is now with us!
Hoss has some dermatitis on his skin and very infected ears, all of which are being treated with antibiotics. Luckily Hoss is Heart-worm negative, so next up are surgeries & procedures for neutering, nasty teeth removal and ear flushing.
The best news is that Hoss is a LOVER. All he wants is a warm bed, belly rubs, to continue learning inside manners…and his brand new piggy.
